Patience Creates Confidence, Decisiveness...

You have to learn the art of patience. Apply discipline to your daily thoughts when they become anxious over the outcome of a goal. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement and failure.

Patience creates confidence, decisiveness,

and a rational outlook,

which will eventually lead one

to being Successful

The fates have given mankind a patient soul
Helen Keller (1880 - 1968)

How poor are they who have not patience!
What wound did ever heal but by degrees.
William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616)

Patience has its limits.
Take it too far, and it’s cowardice.
Franz Kafka (1883 - 1924)

Patience serves as a protection against wrongs

as cloths do against cold.
For if you put on more clothes as the cold increases,

it will have no power to hurt you.

So in like manner you must grow in patience

when you meet with great wrongs,

and they will then be powerless to vex your mind.
Isaac Newton (1642 - 1727)

There will be a time when loud-mouthed,

incompetent people seem to be getting the best of you.

When that happens,

you only have to be patient and wait for them to self destruct,

Spot is the most patient when it comes

to going for a walk with Hank.

Quotations About Happiness and Joy

If you work hard on your job you will make a living. If you work hardon yourself you will make a fortune!
-- Jim Rohn

I don't make you feel special, I just remind you that you are special
! --David F. Sims

Until one is committed there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way.

William Murray - climber of Mount Everest

Happiness is like a butterfly, which, when you pursue it is always beyond your grasp, but, which, you sit down may a light upon you.

--- Nathaniel Hawthorne

"and the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.

John Quincy Adams

Leadership: The art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it.

The real leader has no need to lead--he is content to point the way.

Never Give Up, Never Give Up, NEVER

Sir Winston Churchill took three years getting through eighth grade because he had trouble learning English. It seems ironic that years later Oxford University asked him to address its commencement exercises.
He arrived with his usual props. A cigar, a cane and a top hat accompanied Churchill wherever he went. As Churchill approached the podium, the crowd rose in appreciative applause. With unmatched dignity, he settled the crowd and stood confident before his admirers. Removing the cigar and carefully placing the top hat on the podium, Churchill gazed at his waiting audience. Authority rang in Churchill's voice as he shouted, "Never give up!"
Several seconds passed before he rose to his toes and repeated: "Never give up!" His words thundered in their ears. There was a deafening silence as Churchill reached for his hat and cigar, steadied himself with his cane and left the platform. His commencement address was finished
